For Thakoon‘s brilliant Spring/Summer ’12 show, a trip to India inspired a collection full of vibrant bright colors and gorgeous prints. Collaborating with Francois Nars on the makeup for the collection, a series of six nail colors has recently been released to the public.
All six shades (worn by models on the Thakoon runway) were inspired by the colors Thakoon found in an Indian spice market, and all the better for us – they range from a stellar sky blue (my personal favorite) to a saturated fuschia.
Tip: While the bright shades go on in two coats, the two lighter shades require three coats for opacity.
